I love pizza, and I really love pizza with anchovies. But our local Dominos (along with all of them) does not do Anchovies.
So, first time I called I asked if they did them, and found that they did not. So, I stopped asking.
But then I got to thinking. A question is not only a request for information, it is a statement of preference.
Me asking ‘do you have anchovies’ signals to the dominoes guy that I WANT anchovies.
So, now, whenever I order from Dominoes, I ask, ‘do you have anchovies’ so that he knows.
Now, one lone guy asking for anchovies is not gonna help, but what about if they get 10-20 requests per day? So, I am asking you folks. Do yourself a favour. If a company does NOT do something you want, don’t just ask em once, ask em every time, even if you know the answer. Maybe someone will get a clue.
This thought came to me as I was driving into Liverpool drinking my McD Orange Juice, I sat there in traffic, thinking…. boy, I wish this was grapefruit, so, next time, I am gonna ask for grapefruit, and I will keep on asking, every time, until I get my grapefruit.
