Heads I win, Tails you Lose

Or why controlling the playing field gives you the game.

British Politics, sleeze and hidden agendas.

I feel that the current government problems regarding cash for parliamentary seats scandal is being manipulated to forward a hidden or not so hidden agenda.

I could have called this article any of a number of titles.

“Briar Patch Politics”
“Political Monopolies”
“The Money Pit”

Oh, I could go on.

So, after a scandal regarding loans to political parties, the politicians are saying that what they SHOULD have is a state handout to fund their ego boosting (sorry, political campaigning).

Ok, who decides who gets a handout?

Ohh, this is a lovely scheme to freeze out all of the smaller fringe groups from the political process. All in the interest of making politics more ‘transparent’.

Control the playing field, control the game.

As long as politicians themselves have the control over the rules of the game, we will not have a transparent process.

“Don’t throw me into the Briar Patch brar fox!”

Oh, I give up.
